The course is designed for students of sociology program as a core intellectual formation component. The course offers an opportunity to learn about fundraising skills and techniques as well as the culture of philanthropy more broadly. The acquired knowledge will help students not only to discern social problems but to address them through fundraising activities of nongovernmental organizations.
