Course of international political economy is dedicated to the political foundations and outcomes of the contemporary world economy. In other words it is a study of simultaneous existence and interaction of states, markets and social forces at the global level of analysis. This is an undergraduate course which main idea is to provide conceptual and empirical base for understanding challenges which take place in international economics. We will be taking into consideration a historical concept so students are able to understand how the linkage between politics and economics was established and has evolved. In general this course is designed to gain a better understanding of the tensions and interactions between politics and the economy on an international scale.
